Image transfer
I wanted to try using an image tranfer technique...tried it before with dodgy results lol ! I think this one worked out quite well.
Cant remember where I got the image from, sorry. Anyway, I used a piece of satin lining fabric, tore round the edges of the image and then painted on an even coat of pva glue, put it face down on the fabric and rolled over it with a brayer to ensure it was well n truly in contact with the fabric. I then got called away to do something else so it was several hours before I came back to it....which is probably why it worked so well, normally I would not have the patience to leave it so long!!
I then spritzed the back of the image and rubbed with my finger to remove the paper backing...a slow job....spritzing as required until the image revealed itself, then dried it off gently with a hairdryer. Finally I stamped and inked around the image, frayed the edges and added the embellies and attached to a coordinating card blank.

Tag
I have made this tag for the Dragonsdream Tag it On challenge - Alice & the rabbit situation !
http://dragon-dragonsdream.blogspot.co.uk/
I used a plain manilla tag, Broken China & Frayed Burlap Distress inks, spritzed and blotted then ran the tag through an embossing folder to get the clock impression. I used mini playing cards, tree embellishment and stamps from Alice quartet stamps.

Ok.....this card was made for the Vintage Artisans 'Steampunk' Challenge.
http://vintageartisans.blogspot.co.uk/
I have used stamps from Paper Artsy, Club Scrap, Indigo Blu with black Stazon and Weathered Wood inks. The lightbulb image ....well I think it was from the Vintage Fairy...apologies if not! I stamped the butterflies into the bulb and coloured them with Distress Stickles then used 3D gloss over the top to give a glassy look. The cogs & chain are carboot junk finds.

The theme for the first challenge is colour palette, using a minimum of 3 colours from those given.

Twinchies..
One of 3 twinchies I am going to enter at Show us your Twinchies Challenge Blog..the theme is 'Anything Goes '.
A chance remark made me think that I should describe what has gone into these twinchies...so here goes !
The base is mountboard covered with some pretty washi paper, the edges are embossed with copper embossing powder. The photo which has been torn round the edges is I think from Darkroom Door (not certain!) has been covered in clear utee and cracked. There are micro beads down the one side of it and some gems to finish.

One of 3 twinches I am going to enter in the challenge at http://twinchie-twinchiehotmaillive.blogspot.co.uk/ The theme is 'Anything Goes '.
This base on this is mountboard, inked with frayed burlap distress ink & stamped with Indigo Blu cogs from 'Take the Time' set and embossed in gold. The nelliephant I made from utee in a little mould salvaged from a childs play set! The cog is an old watch part.
