Bits n Bobs from the melt pot!

These are some flowers I made by shaping some wire and dipping them in the melt pot then adding pearl gem centres. Needs some refinement I think - difficult to get even.

The other bits are chipboard shapes that have been dipped - think I am just about getting the hang of that now - and some utee tipped onto an inked-up stamp.

The top card is a "penny roller" card - the rosette is made from a mandala stamp. It is promised to a forum friend!

The second is a commission for a workmate of my hubby.

Baby boy card

This card is for a workmate of my hubby whos partner has just had their baby. The insert hasn't shown up very well, all the pale colours! Had to make an envelope to fit as the card is not standard size.

Altered box

You may recognise this well known brand of choc box! I liked the paper it was wrapped in so decided to use it to alter the box! Sealed it with 3D glaze, added sequin ribbon and used a metal tag , thick embossed it & added a round black gem whilst it was still molten. The inside is lined with black felt.

Cant remember where I got the paper with the flower images on cos I have had it years but couldn't bear to use it! Well I have now!

Map Challenge

These are for a map challenge hosted by Bagpuss on Crafting Corner. The idea is to make the TAG in accordance with the map then pick 2 other items to make in similar style. I did a card & fat page. The buttons dont show up too well but they are beautiful.

These are for Andreas' triple swap on Lots to Do - make the first atc, use an element from that in the second one then an element from the second in the third! I think anyway.......................lol!

An altered CD for Tracys "cute" swap on Crafting Corner.

Mothers Day Card

Unfortunately this card hasn't scanned too well so will look better if you click on it and view close up I think! The background is done with the "direct to paper"technique in shades of pink & green then over-stamped with versamark & heat-embossed with white. The butterflies were stamped on rainbow paper then embossed in white, the upper wings decoupaged and decorated with 3D paint and glitter glue.

This card is for a friend of my daughter who has just taken over as landlord of the pub.
