9-4-9 atc swap

9-4-9 atc swap hosted by Mommabear on LTD, open theme. I chose to do this cherub (by La Blanche)as the centre piece . I used Ink it Up dye based ink in turquoise to stamp and also to colour the background spritzed it with water, then dropped spots of gold H2o onto it , sprinkled a little gold embossing powder & heated it. Stamped & embossed the frame, corners and birds, added the message - no sleep, no dreams!

Arches

This arches swap organised by Andrea on LTD was open themed but had to have recycled elements on each. I have used some fabric & a key chain on the first , a piece of card & a coffee stirrer on the second then a scrap of leather & a watch face on the last.

Altered tin

I altered this little tin for a swap organised by Tracy on Crafting Corner. It is a flat miniature cigar tin which I painted with green acrylic then covered the front ,back & inside with Making Memories Boho Chic paper then sealed with clear gloss. Inside I put some little gift cards and evelopes which have been painted with H20s then stamped with Studio G mini stamps overstamped with a dragonfly (freebie from Craft Stamper)

Canvas "sampler"

This "sampler" is once again inspired by a project in the Craft Stamper mag (if you have never read it you have missed out!) designed by Carol Quance.
My sampler is a bit smaller than A4 (the one in the mag was 5 x 7in) .Painted the backgound with black acrylic then stamped in silver & white & edged the board with silver embossing powder. The square (top left) is made fron a piece of thin metal, the text stamped & embossed, the "frame" created by squiggling with an embossing tool then the metal wrapped around a piece of mount board. The heart was a £1 shop find , the elephant made from utee. The tag was covered in thick gesso then "pounced" to give a hammered effect, the letters etc added whilst still wet then the surface coloured with silver rub-on wax & a black inkpad. The key is dipped in utee & stamped. The butterfly is a die-cut covered with duck tape and distressed with wire & thread wrapped round . The star is a metal tag, stamped image then covered with gloss finish, beads & wire added. Finally, the black ribbon was stamped & embossed, the buckle a junk shop find & mounted onto black gloss card. By the way - the pink is not attached to it ,was just the box it was resting on!

Card

Another card made for a friend, inspired by a project in the Craft Stamper magazine.
