I went to a Venetian mask workshop last week, it was run by Kate Plumtree who is a costume designer (amongst other things). It was great fun. The mask base is made from mod rock (plaster bandage), then it is painted etc when dry. It was actually moulded on the face of a guy who works at the art gallery where the workshop was - he was press-ganged into being our model!! I think this on looks quite tribal and very masculine.

Definitely looks masculine Ju but that also may be down to the colours used, great for a first attempt xxxx
